Hunter Hovenga is an Attorney at Axis Business Law focusing on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.

Before joining Axis Business Law, Hunter gained diverse experience both at large law firms and as in-house counsel. As a corporate law firm associate, he advised clients on a wide range of acquisitions and other corporate transactions across various industries, primarily representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.

Most recently, Hunter worked as Deputy General Counsel at a software technology company. This role expanded his experience to include commercial and technology transactions as well as general corporate matters. Hunter’s understanding of the practical legal needs of growing businesses enhances his ability to align practical legal advice with strategic business objectives.

At Axis Business Law, Hunter leverages his diverse background to assist clients with a range of corporate and transactional matters. Hunter’s approach is characterized by his attention to detail, clear communication, and commitment to understanding each client’s unique business needs.

Hunter currently resides in Wyoming with his wife and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hiking, cooking, and dabbling in various musical instruments.
